Description
The preparation of Molecularly Imprinted Polymer (MIP) for selective recognition of creatinine involves creating a polymer matrix that specifically binds to creatinine molecules. The process uses a template molecule, creatinine, to shape the polymer, ensuring high selectivity and affinity for the target compound. Once the polymer is synthesized and the template is removed, the MIP retains cavities that precisely match creatinine’s structure. This selective recognition allows for efficient detection and analysis of creatinine in biological samples. The MIP can be applied in clinical diagnostics and biomedical research for accurate creatinine measurement and monitoring kidney function.
